Owner and Trainer

Meg Hannan is the owner of Teacher’s Pets Dog Training and its Head Trainer.

She has a B.Ed from Deakin University, Melbourne as well as a Certificate IV in Companion Animal Services. She is a professional member of Pet Professional Guild Australia and APDT (Australia).

Meg has been around animals all her life and has been owned by both cats and dogs.

Sixteen years ago, after a secondary school teaching career, she moved into dog training professionally. Because she is qualified to teach both humans and dogs, she specialises in training the human/dog team.

She follows an ethical approach and employs no fear, force or pain in training.

She is constantly updating her skills: Reading the latest publications and science reports, attending dog training conferences around Australia and seminars both in-person and online.

Meg’s greatest joy is in seeing the smiles on the faces of satisfied clients who have learned to manage their dogs, from rascally little pups to beautifully behaved adult dogs.
