The Joys of Sniffing

I’m walking, sniffing smells,
Which makes me feel so well.
I love to read my peemail –
I think this one’s a female.
I’ll leave a short reply.

I know this tree so well;
it guarantees a smell.
Possums have been climbing.
(I have heard them fighting.)
I think I will walk by.

This peemail smells so strong;
It hasn’t been here long.
It’s Leeroy – he’s close by –
With him I am not shy.
I urgently reply.

So many smells to please,
Come drifting on the breeze.
I’m full of joy, I am –
I think this one’s a spam.
I’ll leave this one alone.

I can’t believe my nose;
This smells like it is clove.
Oh! My senses quicken –
This will earn me chicken.
I’ll stick here, most alert.
